New versions F-Secure F-Secure and Inter Engineering announce the new release of F-Secure Client Security 6.00, F-Secure Policy Manager 6.00 και F-Secure Policy Manager Proxy 1.00 with rich new security features. The Centrally managed F-Secure Client Security 6.00 has many new features, like Anti-Spyware protection, which includes adware, key loggers, dialers, data miners and other spyware, Quarantine for spyware application, HTTP traffic scan for malware (web traffic scanner), browser control against banned browser popups, browser hijacking, ability to lock Internet Explorer settings, block tracking cookies, browser downloads, aciveX install requests etc. The product can also monitor system control for critical file association changes and system start-up changes. A Greek Installer Wizard is also supported. F-Secure Client Security 6.00 supports Windows XP and 2000. For technology reasons support for Windows 98, Windows ME,Windows NT4 Workstations and Communication Directory Management (commdir) has been removed. For centralized management the F-Secure Policy Manager is used with HTTP communication.
