SSH DELIVERS NEXT GENERATION SECURE SHELL PRODUCTS WITH HIGHER ENCRYPTION PERFORMANCE AND AUTOMATED FILE TRANSFERS
SSH Tectia Client/Server Solution 5.0 and SSH Tectia Manager 2.0 Now Generally Available

With the new SSH Tectia versions, enterprises can implement high-performance secure system administration, automated file transfer, and secure application connectivity throughout heterogeneous networks including Windows, Unix, Linux, and IBM mainframe environments. SSH Tectia can be centrally managed with SSH Tectia Manager enabling faster security policy deployment and response to security attacks, and lower TCO while helping ensure ensuring regulatory compliance.

The new key features and benefits of the SSH Tectia client/server solution 5.0 include: 

•  SSH G3TM, the third generation Secure Shell protocol implementation, for faster FIPS 140-2 certified encryption throughput and connection scalability enabling enterprises to meet critical deadlines.
   

• CryptiCore® encryption and authentication technology for increased cryptographic performance.
   

• A complete client-side SFTP API (Application Programming Interface) for Java and C to enable seamless integration of secure file transfers for applications and third-party file transfer management systems.
   

• IBM z/OS platform support allows enterprises to secure system administration and file transfers in mission-critical IBM mainframe environments, as well as secure tunneled TN3270 application connections with SSH Tectia Connector.

The new SSH Tectia Manager 2.0 features include a built-in public-key infrastructure (PKI) functionality for centralized and scalable management of host authentication in large-scale SSH Tectia environments ensuring secure and cost-effective server maintenance. SSH Tectia Manager enables easy deployment and centralized monitoring to significantly reduce operating costs and meet regulatory compliance requirements.
